Meet Sara Johnson
Lead Peer Support Specialist Supervisor
Sara resides in Myrtle Beach, SC. On October 1st she will marry her partner of seven years. Sara has two amazing sons, and a labradoodle named Skylar. Sara graduated from Charleston County School of the Arts. She attended Converse College for her bachelor’s in English and she attended Horry Georgetown Technical College for Digital Arts. She is a South Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist. Sara has been employed at Shoreline for three years. You can find Sara floating around one of three locations, our main agency on Wise Road, Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital or Grand Strand Medical Center. Sara supervises nine Peer Support Specialist as well as supervises GPRA intakes and follow ups. She also coordinates the School Intervention Program, also known as ScIP. A bucket list item for Sara is to attend an emotional cleansing, energy purification yoga retreat in Bali, Indonesia. One thing a lot of people may not know about Sara is she is an award-winning published author. She won the America Library of Poetry’s first place award, received the Editor’s Choice Award and multiple Scholastic Writing Awards.
