Julie Kosatschenko

Julie was born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania. She now resides in Aynor, SC. Julie earned her diploma in nursing from Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Global. In 2022 she became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board. She lives with her husband and their seven pets including four dogs, a cat and a lizard. She says yes, it’s like a zoo! Julie has been employed at Shoreline for one year. Julie shared that when she began her tenure at Shoreline the staff were so welcoming, and she instantly felt supported, which made it much easier to transition into her new role. In Julie’s role she conducts both initial and follow-up visits for clients enrolled in the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. She works closely with patients to assess and monitor their individual needs and to help determine which medication option is best suited to support their recovery from substance use. One thing on Julie’s bucket list is to obtain the Open Water Scuba Certification so she can swim alongside all types of sea life including whale sharks. Something you may not know about Julie Is she loves eating things that are blue. If you catch her at an ice cream shop, chances are she will be ordering cotton candy ice cream because she loves the color of it.
