We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for helping those with substance use disorders. You would be responsible for approval of agency polices, finances and goals. You would regularly evaluate and review agency operations and would adopt bylaws and ensure the agency operates within them. Applicants should have specific experience and/or knowledge in at least one element: administration, finance, personnel, program development, evaluation, public relations or communications. Assessment Counselor – Part-Time
Duties include completion of diagnostic assessments in an outpatient facility as well as crisis management for those who have been identified as having a substance use disorder (SUD).
NOTE: Applicant must be available to work Monday through Wednesday from 9am – 3:30pm and Friday from 8:30am – 3:30pm.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human service-related field. Previous experience with SUD clients preferred. Applicant must possess excellent documentation and time-management skills.
Director of Finance – Full-Time
Primarily responsible for all agency finances under the supervision of the executive director: prepares agency budget; monitors expenditures and cash position; coordinates and leads the audit process; prepares financial reports for Board of Officers and outside agencies; ensures compliance with federal, state, local and agency reporting requirements; assists with review and development of fiscal policies and procedures; processes payroll and works with payroll agency on W-2s/ACAs; generates 1099s; oversees the accounts payable/debt collection department and the billing department.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance-related field and at least 3 years of financial management experience, preferably in a non-profit setting. Advanced computer skills, including spreadsheet creation and proficiency in QuickBooks general ledger and payroll functions. Ability to collect and report data accurately.
Nurse Practitioner – Full-Time
Shoreline BHS is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) with prescriptive authority to provide services to clients of Shoreline Behavioral Health Services (SBHS) in a clinical outpatient setting. Assisting people who are struggling, through the lens of harm reduction and evidence-based approaches, will help combat the overwhelming addiction problem in our area. Join us in utilizing cutting edge approaches in the addiction field that will challenge you while providing you with rewarding experiences.
Duties to include substance use disorder examinations, physical and mental status examinations, and medication management, including psychiatric medication management and medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder.

Peer Recovery Coach – Full-Time
Acts as a liaison between Shoreline Behavioral Health Services and Tidelands Health Emergency Department to coordinate services for emergency room patients identified as having a substance use disorder. Provides and coordinates referrals, assists clients, provides health education to clients on topics such as substance use and provides case management services. Documents all attempts to link clients to care, conducts surveys at prescribed intervals, facilitates transportation for clients as needed and works closely with both Shoreline and emergency department staff.
This is a full-time, grant-funded position, and will be located at Shoreline Behavioral Health Services in Conway initially but will eventually be located full-time in the Tidelands Health Emergency Department.
NOTE: Once located in the Tidelands Health Emergency Department, the ideal candidate must be available for 2nd and 3rd shift work weekdays and/or weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be in recovery with at least 1 year of abstinence/sobriety. Peer Support Credentials preferred. Requires basic computer skills and ability to accurately collect and report data. Must be compassionate and nonjudgmental, culturally competent, a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience with SUD and mental health clients preferred.
REQUIREMENT: Proof of the COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment with Shoreline BHS.
