We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for helping those with substance use disorders. You would be responsible for approval of agency polices, finances and goals. You would regularly evaluate and review agency operations and would adopt bylaws and ensure the agency operates within them. Applicants should have specific experience and/or knowledge in at least one element: administration, finance, personnel, program development, evaluation, legal/law, public relations or communications. Peer Support Specialist – Full-time
The Peer Support Specialist position is intended to aid clients in establishing continued recovery from substance use disorders. This position promotes recovery, self-sufficiency, and maintenance of skills learned in other services. The PSS will assist in completing referrals to treatment services and coordinating services to promote successful linkage to community resources. PSS will work closely with MAT clients, MAT providers using telehealth and in-person services.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED. Must be in recovery with at least 1 year of abstinence/sobriety. Certified Peer Support Specialist certification preferred.
Clinical Counselor – Full-time
Duties include completion of diagnostic assessments in an outpatient facility as well as crisis management; group, individual and family counseling; and treatment and discharge planning for those who have been identified as having a substance use disorder (SUD).
QUALIFICATIONS: LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT, LMSW, or master’s degree in human service-related field and working toward licensure. Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills. Experience working with substance use disorders. Experience working with children and the family unit is preferred.
Evening Custodian – Part-time
Duties include ensuring spaces are prepared for clients and employees by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces. Custodian will also be responsible for keeping a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting purchasing requests when supplies are low. Performing routine cleaning tasks based on a schedule such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors. Washing and sanitizing toilets and sinks as well as restocking soap and paper products. Wiping mirrors and windows. Sweeping off sidewalks and front covered area. Emptying trash and smoking receptacles and bagging for proper disposal. Preparing rooms for different events. Monitoring building and reporting problems as they arise. Touching up paint and changing lightbulbs as needed.
Note: Must be willing to work afternoons/evenings.

REQUIREMENTS: Upon job offer, applicant will be required to complete a drug screen, TB testing, criminal background check, and provide 3-year driving record.

Digital Marketing Internship
We are seeking a motivated and creative Digital Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team. This unpaid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain direct experience in various aspects of digital marketing, social media marketing, content creation, and advertising strategies by working directly with a local non-profit agency. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to our marketing efforts while developing their skills in a supportive environment. Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is a 501(c)3 organization providing drug and alcohol treatment and prevention services to Horry County. Our mission at Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is to address the problem of alcohol and substance use disorders in Horry County by providing individualized, recovery-based treatment and community prevention services. Shoreline Behavioral Health envisions a system of care in which problems arising from the use of substances and addiction in our county are prevented using a combination of public education and early intervention strategies. We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a motivated student who is eager to gain direct, non-profit experience and contribute to our dynamic team.
NOTE: This unpaid internship requires some days working in-person at our agency located in Conway, SC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms such as Tik Tok, Reels and Video formats.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform marketing decisions.
- Support SEO initiatives by optimizing website content and analyzing performance metrics.
- Create engaging content for social media channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Utilize Google Analytics and other advertising/data tools to help manage online presence.
- Analyze data to measure campaign effectiveness and provide insights for improvement.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovative marketing strategies and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts such as SEO, social media marketing, and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of advertising principles is preferred.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills with a knack for copywriting.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for business purposes.
- Experience with SQL and CRM platforms is a plus but not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
