Excellent volunteer opportunity with an organization on the front lines of the opioid epidemic. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for helping those with substance use disorders. You would be responsible for approval of agency polices, finances and goals. You would regularly evaluate and review agency operations and would adopt bylaws and ensure the agency operates within them. Applicants should have specific experience and/or knowledge in at least one element: administration, finance, personnel, program development, evaluation, public relations or communications. Nurse Practitioner- Part-Time
Duties to include substance use disorder examinations, physical and mental status examinations, and medication management, including psychiatric medication management and medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder. This position may occasionally be a part of clinical trials in partnership with MUSC.
- Comprehensive benefits package including participation in PEBA insurance, the SC Retirement System, Deferred Compensation, and paid time off for holidays & personal and sick leave
- Monday through Friday work week. Hours will vary based on part-time schedule.
- No on-call

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have completed an accredited nurse practitioner program with the ability to practice as a licensed nurse practitioner without limitations in the state of South Carolina with 1+ years’ experience. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in providing services to clients with substance use disorders is desired but not required.
