Client Support – Outpatient Facility – Full-Time

Peer support position requiring the provision of services to a target population of agency patients/ clients to assist them in gaining access to behavior health services as well as medical care. Ensure clients receive POE, assessment, care planning, referral, linkage, monitoring and follow-up beginning with a signed Release of Information Form. This support role will engage clients as they enter services and manage waiting room and parking lot areas utilized by clients.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, or GED and certified as a Peer Support Specialist. Current CPR and first aid certification is required.

Billing Specialist – Outpatient Facility – Full-Time

Duties include all aspects of commercial and managed care organizations (MCO) billing requirements such as cross-checking and verifying bills for accuracy, troubleshooting errors, and submitting batches to DHHS electronically. Attend related state Medicaid training as assigned. Request prior authorizations for services from insurance providers and monitor to insure continued coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in business/secretarial science and 2 years of clerical or administrative experience, or high school diploma and 4 years clerical or administrative experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in Carelogic, Emedix systems, billing through MCO’s and other insurance carriers is desired.

Peer Recovery Coach – Emergency Department – Full-time

Acts as a liaison between Shoreline Behavioral Health Services and the Emergency Department to coordinate services for emergency room patients identified as having a substance use disorder. Provides and coordinates referrals, assists clients, provides health education to clients on topics such as substance use and provides case management services. Documents all attempts to link clients to care, conducts surveys at prescribed intervals, facilitates transportation for clients as needed and works closely with both Shoreline and Emergency Department staff.

NOTE: This is a full-time, grant-funded position and will be located at Shoreline Behavioral Health Services in Conway initially but will eventually be located full-time in the Emergency Department in Myrtle Beach.

QUALIFICATIONS: An Associates Degree and be in recovery with at least 1 year of abstinence/sobriety is required. Peer Support Credentials preferred. Requires basic computer skills and ability to accurately collect and report data. Must be compassionate and nonjudgmental, culturally competent, a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience with SUD and mental health clients preferred.

Clerical Assistant – Outpatient Facility – Part-Time

This role is to provide an initial contact point with the client in order to gather personal information and set up a client record in Carelogic. While performing the Point of Entry, you will strictly adhere to 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPPA privacy policies as well as ensure complete and accurate data entry.

Duties also include clerical support to clinical staff and management, review and complete required agency documentation, answer telephone, perform drug screens, assist clients with questions, scan medical records, and perform other administrative duties as needed.

Must be organized and possess excellent time-management skills while working in a fast-paced front office environment. Candidate must also be willing to serve as a substitute front office personnel at our Forestbrook location.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years’ clerical experience. Spanish speaking abilities are a plus.

Substance Abuse Specialist- Inpatient Facility – Part-Time

Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is seeking a part-time Substance Abuse Specialist at the Women’s Recovery Center, a 10-bed residential treatment facility. Duties include facilitation of evening groups in addition to individual counseling sessions. Providing supportive services to residents to include meal planning, medication observation, transportation and case management needs.

NOTE: This position is for evening/overnight shifts only.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human services is required. Experience working with substance use disorder. Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills. Must be able to work independently and as a team member.

Clinical Counselor- Outpatient Facility – Full-Time

Duties include completion of diagnostic assessments in an outpatient facility as well crisis management, group, individual, and family counseling with adolescents who have been identified as having a substance use disorder. Must be able to work independently and as a team member and possess excellent time-management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT, LMSW, or Master’s degree in human service-related field and working toward licensure. Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills. Certified in or willing to be trained in evidenced based programs including A-CRA (Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach). Experience working with adolescents and the family unit is preferred.
