FAMILY AND FRIENDS NIGHT AT SHORELINE
A community presentation is offered every Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm for anyone concerned about a loved one's substance use. Each month a topic is explored related to: alcoholism, cocaine addiction, marijuana problems, prescription pain drug abuse, other chemical substances and gambling disorders. Come on down and learn what concerned folks can do to help the addict better understand the devastation that comes with addiction. This free program is for you. It is designed to be interesting, informative, helpful and practical. Mark your calendar. Plan to attend. We meet at Shoreline Behavioral Health Services Building at 2404 Wise Road, in Conway. If you need directions, call (843) 365-8884.
BOARD MEETINGS
Our Board of Officers meets every third Monday of the month at 6:00 pm. These meetings are open to the public and may be attended by any interested person. The meetings are held here at Shoreline BHS in our conference room.
COMMUNITY BOARDS
We have several community groups that work closely with our agency to provide services to the public. The Women's Advisory Board deals with services related specifically to women and their families. The Community Tobacco Coalition deals with services related to the use of tobacco by youth and adults in the community. SBHS is also in the process of developing a focus group for adolescent services. If you are interested in participating in either of these groups you may contact us at (843) 365-8884 for more information.
